Veterinary Referral Process

We coordinate directly with your family veterinarian to provide seamless specialty care referrals.

We accept referrals for a wide variety of health concerns. Referrals can be scheduled when you and your veterinarian feel it is in the best interest for your pet.

Our specialists services operates on a referral basis only. Please discuss your pet’s condition with your primary care veterinarian, and discuss if a referral to Pulse Veterinary Specialists & Emergency is recommended.

We work very closely with all members of the referral community in the greater Edmonton area (and beyond), and we strive to provide a complimentary service to the great care they provide to your pets.

Although referrals are a scheduled appointment, we do understand that some are of a more urgent nature and make appropriate accommodations. Your veterinarian can initiate a referral through our online referral process and in cases of urgency by also calling us.
